This is very true. The headlight area is not sealed completely persay.

You can also get away easily without notching the cover. If you have any questions on install please dont hesitate to ask

Really? It's not sealed completely? So even from washing my stock headlights they could get fogged up? Well that makes me feel better about cutting up the headlight cover or using a grommet. I always thought it was completely sealed to prevent air/water/humidity from entering the headlights.

I just got done installing these. Installation was easy except for putting the damn headlight cover back on for the passenger side. That alone took me a couple of hours. I hate that passenger side. It's so cramped. Putting the cover on the driver's side was a piece of cake.

The angel eyes are BRIGHT. I love them. So much better than my Racing Dash ones.

I had to redo my passenger side. After I took it for a test drive, I got an adaptive headlight system failure warning. I put the circuit in the space next to the Xenon bulb (that square looking thing in the headlight assembly). Well, it looks like that space is needed for the Xenon headlights when turning to the right which explains why the system instantly failed after my first right turn.

Instead I put the circuit right under the HID bulb, next to the corner illuminating lamps. It takes a lot of patience and time (I think I spent 4 or 5 hours trying to get that cover on there), but it's possible. The results are worth it in my opinion.

I thought I'd add a picture of the Camaross HID angel eyes for anyone who has doubts about how bright they are during the day. I took this picture around noon under the bright Florida sun. As you can see they are very visible/bright. I got the 6000K bulbs. During the day they look blueish in person. At night they look white like the Xenons. I'm really happy with these. Before this I had the RacingDash LEDs and they were barely visible during the day.

I was wondering if you guys had any problems with mounting your ballasts. I installed mine a few days ago, and since then, my passenger side light sometimes doesn't work. I tried taking it all apart and turning my lights on again, and still the passenger side doesn't work all the time. I have pictures of where I mounted my ballast in the commercial sales thread and can't see any problem with my most current mounting position, but now my passenger side light is not running at all. I also found that if I use the tips of my finger to lightly tap the ballast like playing a piano, there is some slight flicker so was thinking that these ballast might be very sensitive. Other than that, the right side has been working perfectly so I'm just wondering if anyone else has problems with slight flickering or a light occasionally not working and if anyone had any ideas of how I can fix this. Thanks!

Could also be a bad ballast. Happens sometimes.

That one ground, the black wire with the metal loop is securely bolted to the ground inside the engine bay.

The driver's side works, but the passenger side doesn't work If you guys tap your ballasts very lightly do you get some flicker? I guess I might have a bad ballast.

Did u need anything corrected? He replied to me last week telling me to try other positions with the ballast but I did that already and it didn't work. I've been trying pm's but maybe he's really busy or something so I might go with alpine's. I was reading in a different thread that they're cheaper and have smaller and full digital ballasts so no flicker. I wonder if we can buy just the ballast.

Does anyone know if what the arrow is pointing to is a ground? I've been having some problems with my driver-side side HIDs sporadically not turning on and Camaross suggested a better ground, so I was thinking of switching it to that one instead.
