To each his own, mate. Honestly, I don't think they look too bad, and they're winter wheels. That means that I will have them on my car for all of about 60 days and then stick them back in the basement until next December. During that time they'll be cutting through mud, slush, snow and ice and run a very high chance of at least glancing off a curb once or more. They'll have a lifespan of three years and I'll still be able to sell them off on eBay for not much less than I paid for them.

It's called being sensible with one's money. Would you prefer I'd have found some steel wheels to fit my 135i?

Yes, and I showed you the wheels you should have purchased. Oh, and don't tell me how to be sensible with my money.

If, the Winter season where you live is only 2 months. What's the point to even getting a Winter set? Where I live outside Philadelphia we get a full 4 months worth, so a Winter set is a necessity.

A two month Winter why bother? Guess your the one wasting the bucks afterall. lol

I like them. Everyone else can go back to their "me too" CSL style wheels. (including me). Major points for going against the grain.

You know, they might look a little better if the chrome parts were painted black.
Wow, you guys are ripping this guy apart for what...making the affordable choice! Ease up a bit.

All is not lost, spend a couple hrs and paint them out. Those chrome parts scuff them w/Scotch brite pad buy some rattle can black gloss and your done!
