Yank in your neck of the woods
Hello fellow 1ers across the pond.
The Mrs and I will be visiting Ireland, Scotland and England on our honeymoon. We will be there three weeks from May 31 - June 20. Looking for ideas in each country on what to see, best way to get around and good places to stay. Nice thing is with three weeks we can see a lot. So far I know Ireland and Scotland a rental car is better as more rural. England use public transportation. Yes I know the fuel is more, yes you drive on the wrong side of the road, Yada Yada. Thanks

You'll still better off getting a rental car. Appart from obviously seeing central London, you may want to check out Bath and York - both great places with loads of history and good pubs/restaurants. Enjoy your honeymoon. Mad. |
