Vietboi817 STOLE MY MONEY!

Hello everyone. Let me tell you about this piece of work. We worked a deal out on some lci black lines. I sent the money with my paypal and it got returned for some reason. (I've bought and sold plenty of stuff) he suggested I pay another was through where he works WELLS FARGO bank. So I did. For some reason paypal resent. Now the guy blocked my number. Won't reply to my emails or anything at all. I call him from different phones. He won't answer. He knows what's up. NO ONE TRUST THIS DIRTY RAT!!!
Going to call his work today and ask his manager about theft through banks.

Sounds like your problem is with paypal. I'd contact them first before blasting this guy. I'm not saying he's not without fault but it seems the real trouble was with the Paypal payment....

I contacted him. I saw he read my messages. Then magically my numbers blocked. Emails. Texts. Phone calls from numerous phones. Nothing. PayPal is on it right now. He knows what he did.

e92ben > Paypal will most likely work it out and refund your money. Try to never go outside of that, unless it's someone you know.

I wouldn't put anyone on blast here. I've sold a lot and bought a lot on here. For years never had any issues. But when someone accidentally sends a second payment. You return it. This guy blocked my number. I called him from another phone. When I asked him for my money he hung up again and blocked that. Emails PMs texts calls nothing all ignored and called. It's not even about the money. It's that he can't get away with this sh*t with me. I just want everyone to know not to deal with him.

Ben,

Is there a chance you sent money to the wrong email or to an email that isn't his paypal email? I have a personal email and a paypal email. It's possible the money is sitting in limbo.

If not, there's a chance he's hoping he can get away with an extra $300~ bucks from the double payment. (you should've been wiser than to send the same payment twice, but that's beside the point)

The fact that he's avoiding talking to you and explaining himself makes me very wary of him. I hope the moderators do something about this and mark his flair as a suspicious seller.

Good luck with everything.

Hey there. I sent paypal to his email. The payment method got mixed up so there was a hold on the payment. So he suggested that we do another payment thru his bank account and I agreed. I had all of his info so I didn't think it was a huge deal. The payment ended up clearing and he got it. Then once I texted him about it. Emailed. Called. Blocked my number. I knew he was avoiding me. We are in the steps for review with paypal. He's trying to get away with it. But I had proof (and posted on here in another thread) that I paid him already. So it's just a waiting game now.

Thanks for the reply. I can't believe people are this dumb to think they can get away with this stuff.

There is basically no such thing as a Paypal scam unless the buyer screws up. Paypal hates sellers and always errs on the side of the buyer when considering refunds.

As a buyer, it can take a few days to get your money back if the seller disputes your refund claim, however, you will almost certainly get it back.
