anyone with 225F and 255R on OEM 18" rims and lowered?
Just wondering, how many of you with 135i's are running 225/40/18 front and 255/35/18 rear on the OEM 18" wheels and are lowered, either with the BMW Performance suspension, or something else with a more significant drop?
I know this wheel/tire set-up works for the stock height, but I want to know if I'll encounter any rubbing if I run this set-up on a lowered 135i. Thanks in advance. |

There's my front set up...
Eibach Springs 225/40/18 Hankooks Stock Wheels 12mm Spacers ...NO rubbing. Tight as you can go on stock wheels. If I was lower I'd go with a 10mm spacer. I have 245 rears so there's obviously no rubbing. You should be fine.

I really like the Eibachs now. I was kinda regretting getting them when I had the RFTs on, but now that I have non-RFTs I love the set up. The drop is near perfect (the rear could be a tad lower) and the ride isn't too harsh.

Thanks for the input. I Had Hankooks on my 911 and loved them, so I'll probably go with them when the RFT's die. They are definitely priced right...
What are you running for shocks? ianc |

Stock shocks right now. I'll probably get coilovers in the next year. I just NEEDED the car lower now.

Thanks for this thread I am contemplating the same issue as the OP. I am runnning hankook v12 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 on my 261 rims. I want to go to the H&R Sport Springs for the agressive raked look but was curious if there was going to be rubbing. Sounds like I will have no issue, thanks guys and cheers to the OP.
