Yellowing side markers

The side markers on my 135i are slowly yellowing, which really stands out against the alpine white paint.

I'm considering replacing the OE markers with something like this: http://m.ebay.com/itm/08-13-BMW-E81-...710?nav=SEARCH

Do you guys have any recommendations for aftermarket side markers? How is the fittment?

I don't have an answer to your question, but I honestly couldn't see how they could be any worse than VHT nightshade.. Mine are currently plastidipped to cover up the embarrassing VHT that was on the car when I purchased it, and it looks okay but it its not very "clean" looking.. I'll probably order a set of these since they're cheap enough.

Mine were yellowing as well. I replaced them with new OEM. Problem solved.

You could just polish them with a machine polisher and some rubbing compound. They'll come up brand new (or just rubbing compound by hand on a microfiber towel if you don't have a polisher).

Cheap fix if you have those things lying around otherwise would probably cost the same to just replace them.

I just polished my side markers up with some swirl remover and it cleared (no pun intended) them up.

I have the smoked LED ones from ebay on my SGM. They have been on the car for 2-ish years and I haven't had any issues. The car is parked outside and is my daily driver. My wife got them for me, they were only about $35.

I'm thinking of changing mines too. To this:

Wondering if it is a straightforward change?

Check out the smoked L.E.D. side markers on mod bargains made by DEPO.
They would look awesome on your white car. Choice between yellow or white L.E.D.
Good customer service too!
