Hanging things from rearview

I went to hang my handicapped permit from the rearview today and it wouldn't go around the joint! Anyone else experience this? I also use a hangtag for parking on campus. I guess I may have to opt for the sticker.

I have a hanging thing for my girlfriend's apartment complex and it fits. If your handicapped thing is like my brother's it should fit, it's just a tight squeeze since the section that it will fit around is only a few mm in length. Because the way they are designed you will have to use a lot more force than you would normally have to.

Just take a look at it from the side and you'll see.

I don't think it is legal here in CA to hang things from the mirror.

I had a conversation with my roommate about people who hang things from the rearview (your situation excluded). What would make someone think that fuzzy dice hanging from the rearview is a cool accessory??

Just so long as you're not hanging a dream-catcher from the mirror of your 135, that would be very wrong.

Yeah, I can't stand to see cars with all kinds of crap hanging from the rearview. I only put my handicapped tag up when I park in a spot and I take it down as soon as I back out. It's pretty big and when it's hanging, provides a huge blind spot.
