Nice picture. Prefer the 1er, e46 starting to look a bit dated.

On another matter: that ship in the background has SOOO little freeboard. A little chop would see it sink!!

One thing these pics don't depict is the head-on difference of the two cars. When I stand 8' directly in front of a 328i or 335i, its bulbous nose makes it look swollen as tho' stung by a huge bee.

The local fuel boat in the background isn't going to sink; that well deck can be completely sealed. Moreover, she makes short hops and so can be loaded to match the anticipated weather when that's necessary. That's a very common site in N Europe in coastal & inland waters.

I one looks great, but I prefer the mean look of the headlights on the e46. The one needs some type of eyelid.

I think the e46 is a classic design and always will look good.
