Got MotoGP/Bathurst on, but should be able to find a suitable day! PM me when you know when you're free.

Hmmm, that is quick. I am getting my windows dealer tinted, so I'm thinking that is a day there. I could have got it Wednesday if I insisted, but since that's my sales guy day off and he really wants to be there for the hand over, I was okay with Thurs. Plus work wise, I can "work from home" on Thursday.

I went to Doncaster on the first day of launch to buy a car and they didn't want to sell any, so I went to Melbourne BMW. Looks like my sales has been slack.

If you don't mind me asking, why DIDN'T they want to sell any? Did you do to their launch or the official BMW launch day?

Well, actually they did want to sell me a car, but with no discount. None at all, the sales i spoke with was like "the price is what it is". Who buys a car with no discount?

Picked up between 2-3:30pm today.
Obviously I busy obsessing over the car, so just a quick visit here tonight. No doubt I'll post more quirky/detail pics later, but here is a quick look: Initial impressions: Car feels VERY tight (only 15km when collected). Quick trip on the boulevard indicated tyres feel a bit skattish over little bumps. A lot more than the 120i. No doubt once the green stuff wipes off it will be alot better. D mode feels quick sluggish to want to swap down cogs unlike the 120i's auto, but it does accelerate quickly. DS mode brings whole package alive. Already fallen in love with the bluetooth phone intergration, even though address book doesn't load from my phone. iPod integration with proper BMW iPod cable is great. Hi-Fi isn't as "lively" as Hi-Fi Pro, but very live-able 99% of the time.

Congratulations, looks lovely! Enjoy the weekend!
BTW, What phone do you have? Try this (no promises, don't know if it fixed mine or whether it was something else I did, not game to remove yet): http://www.jetwaremobile.com/index.htm

Thanks guys.
I'm using a HP 6515. Mainly for Tom Tom satnav, so with iDrive now, I might ditch the phone to something else. SimonB, I've loaded it up and will give that a try first thing tomorrow. So thanks  BTW, my comments about the rear tyres can be ignored at the moment. Checked the pressures....200kpa all round. I've bumped them up to Front: 260, rear: 290. I'll comment again after a better test.

My goodness, I think I got rid of my 6515 around 2 years ago! It's the only thing I've ever won though. Not sure it'll fix things, but it's worth a go. Hmmm, I'll check my tyre pressures tomorrow.

Likewise takahashi, if a blue 135i cuts you off.....it'll probably be me....sorry
After driving around today, I can say the car definitely gets noticed. A lot like my Avus Blue 316i did. Plus the matching blue plates really draw attention.
