daytime/parking lamp error.
Anyone ever see the below error? My left halo and eyebrow went out. The headlight still works but thats it. I thought it might be a fuse but I have ruled that out. The halo and eyebrow do seem to come on for a split second with the ignition, then goes out. Anybody have a solution?

LOL. No I did not because the eyebrow and the halos are out, not just the halos. However they do come on for a second every time ignition is switched on. If It was just the halo's I would have checked. I don't eve think you can access the eyebrow led's anyway.

I had an issue with one of the eye brow LEDs and they ended up replacing the entire headlight. The LED in the eye brow cannot be replaced.

You were actually right. So I went to swap out my led bulbs for the stock halogen ones since I was going to bring it in to the dealer. Turns out one of the 4 led bulbs was fried on the unit. You can see it on the right
I guess when the computer sense a drop in current it shuts down power to the whole headlight unit because even the eyebrow was out till I changed the bulb. These were from BMS, I bought them September 2011, I'm going to give them a call and see if there is any warranty on them. Otherwise they were great much brighter than many of the ebay ones. Here you can see them compared to the stock bulb. They look about the same brightness in the picture but in real life they seem much brighter. |
