Was the Porsche driver a member?

Problem is size.
I have literally 6Gb of video footage from the Contour GPS. Damn battery ran out just past the Kyogle turn, or I would have had some nice 200kph runs on the straights. Only hit 160 on the footage I managed to capture.

Both come highly recommended.

Everyone who has had a drive so far has been blown away.
The 4 month waiting list is the biggest mood killer.
(Oh, and if I was into moddng the car, I would improve the brakes - I prefer a harder bite)

I didn't think the Porsche guy gave the BMW Club a bad rep at all, as everyone seemed to be great and well behaved. I couldn't believe he was giving Vinney an ear full at the pub! Trying to say he put his blinkers on first to overtake... Physically for Vinney to ALREADY be by his side when he was about overtaking means Vinney had the right of way!

I have always thought of joining up to the club but wasn't sure if everyone would be so welcoming, unlike the people on the cruise which were great.

Yeah. I think we all viewed his behaviour as that of an individual rather than reflecting on the club.

Yeah, he is. He also has an E24 6 series, though he never seems to drive it anywhere.

I saw your back end come loose a few times in a scary way! However, I think you handled the car exceptionally well mate, I can honestly say I wouldn't have been able to drive the car that hard in stock form. I know the 1 series feels a bit more unstable than the 3 though. My car has tyres, LSD, coilovers, it still felt like it had plenty more to give but need to save that for a track day

His driving etiquette was very poor, cutting people off and trying to speed up could have been catostraphic. Fortunately I had enough power in that situation. I can't think of any reason why anyone would speed up when they're being overtaken on those kinds of roads especially when they're by your side Again, I felt as though he was in the wrong and this is my opinion. If he had a problem with it he could have pulled me to the side and spoke to me about it and it would have been water under the bridge. This guy was shouting my name out across the pub 4 or 5 times and everyone was looking. I asked him if he drove the Porsche 2 or 3 times and he wouldn't respond I thought he could easily have handled it with a bit more class.

Thank you everyone for another successful run. Special thanks to our team leader Craig for his professionalism in providing extra safety measure for the team. Great job for a first timer.

I think the Xmas party is just for members, but you are most welcome on the breakky run.

If you are planning on coming to the Xmas get-together, make sure you RSVP to Jude, as we have to arrange the catering...
and I need to know how many German sausages I have to get to cook on the Jagermeister Car-B-Q

Yup... I have 3 different things on that day and I'm still figuring out what I'm going to go to and doing the mental prioritisation...

On a less happy note: Was removing bugs from the front of my car this evening and found that I have about 4 chips out of my windscreen and this on my bonnet:
