Yes, before asked I will say that with a 12mm spacer in front it does rub when full lock to left, not as bad to right. It does not rub at all in rear, unless you really motor over whoops, which is not my driving style. Hope you guys like it

I wonder how much this will shorten the life of the oem strut?

So let me get this straight. BMW spends nine months dialing the suspension in on the 'ring, but you'd like to improve things...

So you successfully add un-sprung weight, mess with the steering feel and weighting by changing the scrub radius, miss-match the spring to damping ratio, put the car into the bump-stops way before it's designed to hit them, and make the tires rub that nice new body in cornering or over bumps. No mention if you re-aligned the car or if you also put the alignment completely out of whack.

Somewhere a BMW suspension engineer just pulled out the last of his hair.

No. Even better, I figured that the 1M sub forum has become stale. So I figured I would go out of my way just to piss you off.

But while we are on the subject, Mr. Race Car Driver, I am well aware that my "ring" time may have suffered a few seconds, but since we cannot all be the Stig, I figure for everyday driving my car now makes me happy as well as the other 12 or so people that agree so far, but to each there own, you go late apexing. I'm sure you are extremely versed at threshold braking.

And btw, rubbing's racing lol.

I am curious myself, although my plan is to replace this setup completely by next summer if possible with a fully adjustable coilover setup, leaning towards AST 4200's like HP Autowerks has.....

I can understand if you don't race and respect that.
You've also made the car worse to drive in every way on the street though..?
In fact the only thing it's better at is... posing.
Hmm.

I'm tempted to agree with Ferris Bueller: "A man with priorities so far out of whack doesn't deserve such a fine automobile."

You asked for an opinion. But hey it's your money, spend it how you want to.

You need to understand that although we may own the same car, much as we all date women (at least most of us), our cars serve us in different ways. So, while one man may choose to date a rock climbing, mud loving, arm wrestling, lumberjack looking broad that could run the mile in 3 minutes; others may choose the girl in the real short skirt, with D cup breasts. Sure, she can't run the mile in that shit, with titties smacking her in the face, but she got everyone's attention in the bleachers.

Not saying you're wrong but care to substantiate that claim? Driving exp? proven data?

JJ made no claims that this was best thing for handling, I don't understand why all the "purist" feel the need to come into every thread that mentions mods and preach how the good stock is. We're well aware of that, but don't forget that this is also a STREET car, and compromises have already been made from the factory.

BTW JJ, the car looks hot, keep at it
