I'm sticking to what I've been told by my people on the inside.

Launch (spring 2008 as 2009 models)-

128i coupe (230hp N52)
128i convertible (same as coupe)
135i coupe (300hp N54)

Late 2008
135i convertible

I don't think you guys will stay behind in terms of new "1"s being released. Here in Europe the 1 just had a mid-life facelift but the coupe and cabrio versions are just as new to us... So next generations will probably be released in both Europe and States at the same time (maybe a few months of difference but nothing major).

I hope this Coupe really is sold with the 2.0 litre diesel engine available in the hatchback version (the one on the 120d with 177bhp not the 118d), at least here in Europe. 'Cause I want one! lol
