The 128i is definitely equipped with a lighter and easier to engage clutch. I enjoyed it a lot when I compared the 128i and 135i though the test drive was on different days I remember feeling the difference in the 128i. That said I think the CDV is probably still a pain on this car...especially in 1st and 2nd
