225 all around or 225F/245R
Going to get some OZ ultraleggeras, which come in 17x8. Talked to someone at tirerack and they recommended going 225 all around. They said if I went staggered, it would have to be 225 front and 245 rear.
Trying to decided which one. I think 225 all around is probably best, wanted to hear some opinions Pros: Cheaper tires Can Swap out front and rears not a 135i so I don't have to worry about putting power to the ground. reduce understeer daily driven car Cons: Less grip then 245 rear no longer staggered car looks yummy with wide tires

It might make common sense but just putting it out there, I've seen it done with my own eyes.
Remove all current wheel weights before getting balancing done again and start from scratch versus just tacking more on. |
