Alext- interesting you give the yokohamas a rap. I had bridgestones on my 350z for the first 25k kms. I then switched to the Advans and found the grip levels to be much lower. I just swapped back to Bridgestone RE001 adrenalins 2 weeks ago and I'm really happy with them.

With only ~30km on the pair of Falkens on the front of our car, they're showing the typical traits of most new tyres ... poor grip and high noise ... normal for the mould-release residue and piping / fur from the production process. Will see how they compare to the stock Pirellis after a few weeks to wear them in.
