I am new to this forum, but have spent a little time looking through some of the posts.

I ordered my new 1 series convertible 2 weeks ago...and am awaiting a September delivery.
I am trading in my existing 3 series sedan to take the new 1 series.

I would love to hear from anyone else out there who has had 1st hand experience with any issues, good-bad, or indifferent!

My order has these options;
18" Star spoke Alloy 264's ; Heated seats, Casmere Silver metallic paint + Beige interior; Bi-Xenon headlights + headlight washer system; Auto transmission; Chrome Exterior Pack
Im soooooooooo looking forward to taking delivery of it!!!!!
Congrats Kabriolett, I'm sure it'll be worth the wait

If I didn't already own a vert, I too would be getting a 1 series vert (135i) in exactly the same interior/exterior colour combination you've chosen

I am looking at getting the 135i coupe, also in the same colour combination as above...but I havn't yet seen all the colour choices for the coupe in the metal, so that may change in the end...

Hey there Harpoon!!
This is turning out to be a September-Fest for quite a few of us on this forum it seems will be taking Sept deliveries.

I guess that means we will be posting pics & sharing info on our beasties too.

I'm in there for a Sept delivery too, but I'm in Perth and therefore closer :-)

I was told either a late August or September delivery as well. By years end, we should be seeing a number of 1ers on the roads in Sydney.

Hi flamezy!!
Nice colour combo - Alpine white + red interior!
I think most of us will probably have Euro or custom plates on our cars too?
Ive seen the pics from a few Aus members here with customized plates.

Wont be too hard to see other 1 series owners pottering about Sydney Roads at least, who are members here too it seems.

I'm still undecided on what plates to get, it's either the euro or personalised content white bordered plates. Still have a few months to decide.

Congrats Kabriolett! 120i is fine if you are not intending to tear up the tarmac. It isn't the slowest car in the world. I would consider something like this in a couple of years when my baby is a bit older and it's ok for us to drive with the top down. Maybe I will wait for you to sell yours to me lol.

flamezy,
the long white Euro plates with blue would offset really well against your colour combo I reckon.
I have them on my 3 series at the moment...they look really smart.

Hey there WAY!!
Yep - I was more than happy with how it behaves & responds on the road - maybe Im getting too old to be tearing up the tarmac
Its more for me to enjoy getting to & from the office in Sydney....and given Im spending 1 hour in traffic every morning, 1 way...I may as well be in something that I can enjoy

You know the good thing about most European makes, is that the resale value at the 3 year mark is pretty good, so even if I were looking at a 60% mark, Id be happy.
