And Eyeman - your observations are interesting because they agree with what we found when testing 3 different axlebacks(3 different loudness levels). The general idle and WOT sound were different, but there was not much difference in apparent drone in the cabin so we went with the louder of the 3 setups. R.

I wouldn't go so far as to say it is embarrassing. The timing just got all messed up. Myself, as well as anyone else that is waiting to hear the final product appreciate you keeping it at that price. You are definitely the vendor that I remember from my days in the Scooby community. |

I will hopefully get mine installed this week. It came to my mothers house while I was away on vacation. The product looks great and the welds and bends are top-notch. I will post pics and some idle sounds clips as well......depends on when my girlfriend lets me get away...LOL...

Production sound clips - finally
This is the first clip I could cobble together. There isn't much load on the car due to the drive-bye's all being in 2nd gear. I'm not a huge fan of the audio from the Samsung camcorder used either...but at least we have some initial clips from a production exhaust. Now that this is on my car I will be able to get some more up over the next few days. I'll use my trusty old Sony camcorder that has very good audio(no clipping), and I'll try and get some stuff in 3rd gear and higher if possible. I'll also post some pics of the final production exhaust. The production units have mounts for the factory vibration damper(that 2 pound piece of rubber) R.

Being there in person the sound clip does not do the exhaust quite the justice it deserves. It is definitely louder than stock without being obnoxious. It has a nice aggressive sound and really shines under load. it's also top notch construction and fits great.

Rich,
Those clips still are not good enough for most people...I will be spending today putting something a little better together for you. I think my digicam has a better mike than the Samsung you were using!...I will see about finding a quieter spot as well without the background traffic noise! Wink, wink LOL! |

is the price on the exhaust still 649? Where can I order this and did you ever get around to making those sound clips with your own cam?

I'm going to get out later this afternoon and get some better idle and stationary revving. The exhaust is broken in now so even the clip I posted above is now a bit moot. Rich

I made a cold start exhaust clip and will upload and post it later tonight. I am having a problem finding a quiet and out of the way street for a drive-by while warm.....sigh

I think this clip is a bit better of a cold start and some revs up to 3500 rpm.

Nice clip there andrean8j. I know your's is going to be a bit louder than others since you have cat-less DPs but it still sounds nice.
Placing my order now. |

No worries man. I love the sound. I am hoping to get some drive-bys within the next few days and then post it up as well.

Just a friendly bump to an old thread. Reb B Whisper Series are in stock with no lines and no waiting. The Reb B systems have new richer double walled tips that look fantastic both polished or in black ceramic coated.
Order with THIS LINK A cruising clip...this one is with the MadDad Performance Midpipe combo.

I'm not not the daily "bump" type, so fyi...we've got a few Whispers ships on the shelf ready to ship and we just finished a run of matching resonated mippipes as well. No lines, no waiting.
