Tomorrow is the day!
How in the world am I going to sleep tonight?
My car arrived at the dealer this afternoon, but it is my son's birthday and I was unable to pick it up. And yes, I did consider making "Pick up Daddy's Car" the new theme for the party. After the troubles with my first order (it burnt to the ground when the transport truck from the port in CA caught fire), the dealership arranged to have my car sent by itself in an enclosed single-car carrier. Apparently, a team of BMW engineers rubbed it with Egyptian cotton baby diapers coated in imported carnauba wax for entire trip north. My SA snapped a photo, which is doing nothing to help me relax tonight. This is the closest experience to Christmas Eve that adults can have, I think. Only difference is that I'm going to end up eating all of the cookies... |

You could always just camp out in front of the showroom. And why they gotta open so late on a sunday?!
Glad to see it finally made it safe and sound. Looks better than that stupid 4-series in mineral grey next to it, too. =P One note of caution, which I know will be hard given you'll be jumping up and down with exuberance tomorrow, but it's happened to a couple of us IS owners, so you may want to have them double check the radiator, radiator clamp, and coolant during the PDI process. Mine had a cracked radiator (needed replacing) the day I was supposed to pick it up, and IEDEI was missing some radiator hose clamps and dumped all his coolant on his drive home from the dealer. Then enjoy the hell out of it and welcome not only to the IS family, but the mineral grey IS family, as well. |

Congratulations! Glad to see the car made it safe and sound. Yes, the anticipation if being introduced to your new 135is makes it difficult to sleep the night before. At the time I'm writing this, it's already 7:45am on the West Coast… I'm sure you're already up and watching the clock! It's gonna be a great day… don't forget to post your impressions later today!

Congrats, great to see she arrived in one piece this time! I love that color combo, debated between that and Carbon up until the day mine finally went into production.
Yours has to be one of the last off the line, glad you were able to get the replacement ordered in time |

Oh man finally! Congrats! The car looks super nice. Love your color combo. The sound of that PE is still my favorite thing so far.
