Climate Temperature problem
So upon getting into my 135 2 days ago and starting the beast up, i hear this dreaded gong noise, i have a look at the temperature gauge and it says -41 deg C, i know i didn't wake up in Antarctica in fact it was about 24 deg C so i'm not sure what's going on, anyway to reset the temperature? or could this be something more serious?

There is a problem with your ambient air temperature sensor. The one on my E46 (located in the right front wheelwell) was chewed up by chipmunks and cost about $325 to replace.
Unfortunately, when my temp read -40o F (not sure why you get the extra -1o in Centigrade), the system would not allow the A/C compressor to run. So unless its just a loose wire, I'd suggest taking it to your dealer. Tom |

I am pretty sure there is a rodent-master edition.
