interchangeable parts...

Is there a thread on here that lists what parts OEM or aftermarket alike, are interchangeable? If not, it would be a good sticky to have.

It would make it easy to determine if someone's used part in the for sale section or otherwise, would fit and maybe stop a thread like this from occurring lol

If there is one already, my apologies and please point me in the right direction.

There is no list and compatibility is generally worked out on a case to case basis. If you have any questions for comparability on a specific set of parts- people will chime in

realoem.com is best place to start for BMW parts. Aftermarket would need to see proof from manufacturer but still sometimes risky.

Ok off the top of people's heads, what have you done to your 128 that was stick from a 135 or 328/330?
