Yeeesh. Could give BSW a bad name. Might have 1/2" of compression available in the front. Engine work could be interesting, but seems like might have a short life.

Cant stand the wheels and the front end has too much going on with it. I dont understand why they take an incredible looking car from the factory (1M) and spend money on it to make it look worse.? The front end is to busy and that rear spoiler isnt anything to special either IMPO. I think Manhart could have done better on this as well to say about the engine.
They should just slame a new 4.4L twin turbo motor new M5 motor) inside it and see how she runs then haha Probably NO TRACTION until hmm MAYBE 4th gear lol. good stuff!!

First of all i would like to thank Piotr for the nice writeup and the pictures.
I would like to add some more information's in case somebody is interested.. - The reason why the car looks lower on the back as in the front is because the car wasnt parked straight on the place the pictures were taken ( i have added more pictures below where you can see how nicely the car sits) - As for the Wheels, the Schnitzer Type 5 Wheels are just a solution for now as unfortunately we still haven't received our 2012 MHR Concave ONE Forged wheels for this car. - We have added our MHR Carbonfiber Frontspoiler - The trunk has been replaced with a MHR Carbonfiber trunk with Ducktail (not an add on spoiler) - The Bonnet has been replaced with a MHR Carbonfiber Bonnet with Snap closures - The rear diffuser has been replaced with our MHR Carbonfiber Rear diffuser - Mirror Caps have been replaced with MHR Carbonfiber Mirror Caps Engine Modifications are as follows: - MHR Downpipes - MHR Rear Mufflers - MHR Intercooler - MHR Oil Cooler - MHR Radiator - MHR Carbonfiber Airbox included CF Piping with 72mm Diameter - MHR Stage III Software The car is running on Pump gas and around 14-15psi on stock Turbos In our initial tests it put down 406whp/595WTQ ( Dyno sheet attached as many people were asking for it). Outside Temperature was 27 degrees celsius However, the car is not fine-tuned yet. To a late stage we are planning to upgrade the Turbos as well. Below you will find detailed pictures of the car included the interior, the instrument cluster and the LCD MHR Display. By simonxr36 at 2012-07-26 Uploaded with ImageShack.us |

let me just say job well done. its a harsh crowd and a lot of ppl like to follow the leader wen there is a flaw in a car whether it be minor or major.
it may not be the prettiest but hey thats why you are tuners you create a product for people who enjoy that particular taste. apart from that you managed to get some serious power with a tune and bolt on so kudos to you and keep up the good work. |

Those wheels are major rice... Get rid of those...
The "pin striping?" on the side does not look like it was done professionally, get rid of that too. MHR logo replacing BMW logo looks off centered Debadge Replace Hood with something that looks like it was from the M3 DTM race car, or the F30 m3 renders of the hood bulge. What are those on the front fenders? stickers? Just my 0.02 $. |

Tough crowd. I think most of the car looks good.
I will say I think 19's are the largest size wheel for the 1. Maybe I'm old school but when my 18's are on the car I think it looks better then stock. It certainly rides/handles better too. I guess it's a fine line between making better performance vs. show car.

The car is really ugly, but 465hp at the crank with stock turbos is not a bad result.

- Airbox (without shipping and install): 2800 EUR - LCD display: 800 EUR Obviously Manhart does not produce the airbox themselves. From what I have heard, it is actually made by a small company called Gfk-Technik Glück but which is not a retailer. You can count with a margin of around 1000 EUR for Manhart for each box.
