NEW !! 135i ´09 AW from Mexico

Hello everyone, my name is Rafael im 22, from Mexico City, I have 5 months reading everyday this forum, very informative.

I want to present my BMW 135i 2009 , Alpine white, red interior.

Also I have a Megane Sport 2008 unfortunately you cant see this car in your area but its a very good car 225 hp turbo engine ( add photo )


For the 135i , in time I bought the lateral spoilers and the bmw performance stickers ( add photo ) .

Welcome and nice rides you got there as well.. You get those headllights if you order the 135i in Mexico??? Maybe I shuld drive down to Monterrey and order mine since im right in TX....

Yeah its my daily car, on track its very easy to drive, im a rookie on track so i made a better time in this than the 135i.

But i prefer 10000 times my bimmer

Thnk you , those headlights come with the 2008 and 2009 on the mexican version, i saw some of US cars WITH YELLOW HEADLIGHT

YES you can get it here in Mexico but they will be very expensive , i can adventure the price will be $ 600 dlls each

How much do 135i's run at down there?

You mean the lights costs $600 each down there?

yes for example bmw lateral spoilers cost me $ 7,500 pesos its like 580 usd both

The lateral mirror in Carbon Fiber both cost $ 650 usd

I dont have the chance yet to run my 135i on 1/4 mile, a friend runs 13.3 with filter. @ 2,200 mts up from the sea

My max speed was 280km /h on highway

Kool. I was saying mainly bc I know thoe euro headlights in US to buy are VERRRY expensive, and since they dont come clear in US you see everyone with ambergones bc people dont want to spend all that money on two lights..

My partner at work here in Texas is married to a girl from Mexico City. Her brother is the regional rep. for BMW down there and gets to drive all the cool new cars when they come out. I want his job! LOL

The BMW's in Mexico must not have any speed limiters like the ones in the US do. 280 kph is 175 mph if my calculations are correct! Ours will only go around 150 mph.

As for your post above, 135TT, I don't believe their cars are legal to import into the US since they do not meet all of the US standards. I know some people were trying a few years ago to import the last of the VW Beetles which were still being made in Mexico, but they were not legal without a lot of expensive mods.

thats odd... how do they allow us to do ED to be imported frum Germany which is on the other side of the world but wont let me import from somewhere two-6 hrs away? Mainly just want to save as much as I can on the bimmer n wuld love to get the clear lights stock know wat i mean? I was thinkn bout doing ED but parents think thats not such a good idea..

doing ED dont u end up spending that 7% and end up spending the same as in USA going to Germany and paying for food and hotel tho? Thats wat my SA told me...ive only been around usa n mexico so idk..
