Congrats!
3 ?'s 1-Did you have a rear armrest? 2-Does it have the ambience lighting in the doors? 3-What packages did you have? I'm usually not a fan of grey cars but that SGM looks fantastic! |

WOW...Thanks to all for your kind words. It's not enough that I got my car but all your well wishes are iceing on the cake. This is the best forum ever. Everyone is friendly, helpful and supportive......it's a pleasure to be here.
Now for some responses: Nice1....."Thanks for my new wallpaper"........Thanks to you for saying that. I feel that that picture wasn't that great. The car was dirty because of my rainy drive home and it was overcast. I promise I will get better pictures when the weather clears and I've had a chance to clean her up. dclee1....It's a little too early to compare the 135 to the Cayman just yet. I will need some "getting use to" time on the 135. I actually stalled it twice ....getting used to the clutch. First thoughts though are that the 135 is nicer to drive as a commuter car. The ride is softer and, the big difference, is the engine noise. Now, don't get me wrong, but with the Cayman you always hear the engine (cuz you're leaning against it) and if you are tring to just relax and drive it's always "in your face". That's great if you are in a sporty mode. but we aren't always there. Anyway, more comments to come as I come up with them. plexiglass.....CONGRATS....As the FIRST 1ADDICT to see your car in person I feel a strong bond with it. Maybe we can get together and compare notes someday.....let me know. Matt60158....I'm in for a ride to Bel Air.......PM me with details if you want to get together. My mother-in-law lives near there and I always use the back roads for my drive up. Takes me about an hour. stoveax08....Answers: 1. I do not have a center rear arm rest. We are not sure if it exists or if it is just a myth. We (Larryn and I) think that you might get it with the Cold Weather package. With that package you get the ski bag and that would certainly need a hole to poke through. So maybe that hole doubles as an arm rest. Anyone that got the Cold Weather package, speak up if our assumption are true. 2. I ahve not been able to find any ambiance lighting in the doors (interior). I have the outside door handle "puddle lights" and in the interior I have two little (like the size of a pin head) lights in the top console, between the map lights that are red and on whenever the headlights are on. I haven't seen them in very dark yet but they look pretty neat. 3. Packages/options....Sport....Premium...comfort access...NAV...HD radio...SAT radio...Premium HiFi...heated seats....and...I-pod. Thanks again all :roundel:

TP_135i, one more question.. when going to the "Tone" menu, and arrowing over to the spacial modes (of the premium hifi package). does it mention Logic 7 in the menu system at all? That's what the sub-menu screen name is called on the e90...
