If we get the TT-RS in america I'll go back to Audi

The TTS is already 60k in Canada. The RS would likely be ~75. Audis are vastly overpriced.

You got that right! Then add in the lack of resale valve, and it's not so compelling to consider.

I know but I can't get over the inline-5 sound. This is the best audi since the UR-Q, Sport Quattro era.

The more we look at what's around us it becomes clear that the 135i truly is in a class by itself when you consider price, power, style, etc.

The problem is going to be what to buy next after you decide to part with the 135. We are definitely spoiled with this thing.

We will all end up remortgaging our homes to by 911 turbos to give us the same level of thrills. Damn you BMW ;-)

I'm a car enthusiast I will go try an other brand and see what's going on elswhere. C63, Evo, STI, Elise are on my list different cars but life is short have I have to try them all. I don't have that much interest in Porsche's apart from GT3RS, GT2 maybe the Cayman S. Yes your right the 135I is a car that most of the people fall in love with and is meant for enthusiasts. The rare 135I in Montreal that I've seen we're driven by what seemed to be down to earth people(I received thumbs up from other 135 drivers).

Hope you enjoy BMW. So far I am very happy with my 135 and BMW. It has only been one year for me but my father has had 3 BMW's in a row and is very happy. My wife had a 2003 Audi A4 for 3 years. Nice car, fun to drive, descent power, AWD and nice inside. We had so many problems and both the Audi dealer and Audi Canada treated us like shit.

I used to own a Mk1 TT, loved it but not enough power. Then I got into a B7 S4 and that was a rocket ship but the handling was less than ideal. Now i have a 135i Vert and I love it! You won't be disappointed.

You might luck out with your timing IF BMW does decide to release a 2010 super sport version of the 135i, which I'm sort of doubting. Such a model would hopefully be slightly lighter weight and come with the performance upgrade kit on the N54 engine. Everybody's waiting for the upgrade kit to become available and supposidly it will be here in July, but I've had BMW sevice people tell me it's not coming so we'll have to see. I would not be surprised if the HPFP issues kill the idea.
