What are people paying for a lease????

I'm curious to know what people are paying to lease on the 135i with no money down to decrease the monthly payment. Of course, the mileage allowance needs to be listed.

your post makes no sense. if they are going with no money down lease why would they pay?

and why would anyone put anything down on a lease?

Some people (myself included) like to put a little down on a lease to give flexibility to the payments down the line. For instance, I have 3K in an account that's going toward the lease ONE WAY OR THE OTHER. So, I can put it down up front and drop my payment by $140 per month, or just take it out little by little. Gap insurance is required by law here in MA so I don't have to pay for that or worry that I'll owe more.

The one risk I'm taking here is if the car happens to be totalled early on in the lease, then I would lose that money. But many people say NEVER put money down. Well I've been leasing for years and I like having the nice low payment. My payment should be in the neighborhood of $465 for my 135ic stickering around $45K.

That seems pretty good. It would have only been $605/month no money. That is the best i've seen.

Yup, dealer agreed upon price today ($42,462). MSRP is $45,120.

2 year lease at 12K per year is 75% residual and MF .00285 (these are October's rates, not sure if Nov is different)

If you have "excess" money, put it down as additional security deposits. Each security deposit lowers the money factor by 0.00007, and you can put up to seven. I think this is a better use of your money than a cap reduction. Search "Multiple Security Deposits" as lots have been said about them.

The money isn't "excess" it's money earmarked for the lease. I'm familiar with the MSDs. Like I said, the money will be used for the payments one way or the other. I like using it up front for a nice low monthly payment.
