Seems a little long, since the 1er has already been in production for six years globally. It seems like most rumors are that the replacement will be a 2011 model and mules have already been spotted, so production should likely end sometime in 2010.

I thought the hatch was being replaced in 2012 and the coupe and vert in 2013.

The coupes are not the same as the hatches. The hatches are due for replacement. The coupes only started as 08 models and have a ways to go before a refresh.

Hoping 2010 but probably not the case given the coupe/convertible is so new. Hopefully they have the facelift out by then.
