Interior noise

Does anyone notice that even with the stereo off, there is always some ambient noise coming from the speakers? It sounds like a speakerphone is on all the time... I thought it was b/c of my bluetooth, but even after disconnecting my phone it's still there.

It's kinda hard to detect you have to be driving with the windows up, stereo off, etc...Is there any way to get rid of this? I feel like this cars hvac/stereo has its own brain, they are always making random noises even if you don't touch any buttons.. maybe my car is haunted haha.
