Winter - Looking for a hair more traction

I've got a 135i with FBO+Meth which is entirely useless in winter, lol

I had my winters put on today, and am looking to get a bit more traction in the rear. It understeers horribly in the slush but I can work around that.

Usually I drive my subaru in the winter, but the BMW is a much, much nicer car.

Should I just put more ballast over the rear axle?

Tires are currently Pirelli Winter Sottozero Serie II Run Flat but I have no interest at this point of swapping my tires. I'm running the factory pressures.

I can only imagine how bad it must be. The LSD will help a ton when you get there. In the meantime I have no ideas other than maybe disconnecting your tune in the winter..lol.

I'm not sure if it would help in your car, but in my 128i I put on winters and a bag of sand (well sealed in another bag of course!) in the trunk over that axle. It works quite well.

Yeah, I'm currently in mode 0. Starting off in first is usually a futile exercise. lol

Yeah, that's what I meant by ballast. I've got two 40lb bags in the trunk currently. Maybe I'll add more.

Or maybe I'll just go find me a 335xi
