Leaning towards 55 due to reliability issues as it'll be a daily but open to either. Stock or lightly modded is fine.

hpfp/water pump/ plugs and coils are fine. my main and if anything only concerns are the injectors+turbos? the issues with them arent so bad at least compared to n54 from what i've heard (i could be wrong)?

would you guys rate a 2009 (my10) n54 over a 2011 n55 - all else remains same 6sp manual etc?? theres 2 i'm looking at with these variants.

the car is a daily** i just dont want to be stranded like the horror stories lol!

If you consider the front left brake squeal an issue then fair enough.. but ZERO issues with my N55 thus far. And I will add its quality/build is rock solid. I was going to trade it for the new 718S, I was in one today, except the interior is crappy compared to the 135i. I just can't let it go.
