Square M261 rims w/ 265/35 tires

I finally fit square M261 rims with ~265mm tires on all four sides with 7mm spacers up front - lowered with -2* camber up front.

The tires are 255/35/18 Federal 595 rs-rr which run about 10mm wide, cannot wait to hit the track with a more balanced setup. Just thought I'd share since this question comes up often.

So you are running 4 rear rims?

You think you'd need spacers at 245?

Love to see a picture. Must be meaty!!!

7mm spacers in front with the 8.5 in rims & 255 tires (closer to 260ish). Have about 3-4mm between strut and rim. Only rubbing is under compression at full lock (so basically never)

That looks great! What offset would you recommend for 245's?

~ET45 up front and ~ET60 in back.

Basically exactly what Apex did with the Arc-8s

How are you getting away with 7mm spacer up front. I tried the 10mm (same 261 8.5 wheel) and it wheel came within a few mm of the strut?

Every strut has a different diameter, I run Bilstein Coils and have 5-6mm between rim and strut with a 7mm spacer

that explains it... so I need to get a different strut?

I may be able to get away with 12mm spacers then.

I wanted to get the bmw sport suspension. Is there a way to figure out how wide the struts are before buying them?

sorry to bring this up again.. I am still looking to get this done since I already have all 4 square wheels.

Which Bilstein coils are you running? Do you have a part number for them?

Thanks!
