Picked up my car last week and I love it. Titanium with Coral Red - Sports, Premium, Comfort Access, Heated Seats, Glacier Trim. Not as raw as my E46 M3 but certainly faster. Also much quieter then my M3
So far I have purchased the following: Cobb Stage 1 Accessport - In route and not installed yet. New CDV - Not installed yet Will purchase clutch stop very soon I still have 1 1/2 year left on warranty so I don't want to avoid that. I will dd the car and probably never track it but I might. I live only a couple of hours from VIR. From the reading that I have done on this board it seems that a catch can and intake are a waste of money. It seems that it might be worth it to purchase a hi flow drop in filter. I know that Intercoolers have been discussed extensively on this board but I am wondering if they are worth it for my 1 since it will be used primarily as a spirited driven dd. Any other suggestions? HPA charges $168 for the 15 lb Braille. The exact same battery (ETX20L, 15 lbs) is $79 shipped from Bohannon; I've used them for years, very reliable. You overpaid by $89, more than the cost of a second Deka. Just as an FYI, they really don't provide enough CCA for our cars in the winter, and you can't run the stereo, etc., off of them for more than a few minutes without major decreases in power. After bad winter-time experiences with them, I no longer use them in anything but my motorcycles, outside of track-only cars. For a daily driver, don't bother, the extra weight of the stock battery is worth the knowledge that it's not going to leave you stranded. |
