Has anyone put a Meisterschaft back section on a stock midpipe? Im wondering if it would sound as good as with a meisterschaft mid section. thanks

No, but I've got a Meisterschaft Touring HP on an otherwise stock system, and it sounds great! I have about 2500 miles on it and the sound has opened up considerably since installation. I get a nice burble on deceleration now. What I like about the HP is with the windows down (or sunroof opened) you definitely notice the exhaust sound, but with the windows closed the sound inside is more subdued, unless your really wind it out. My 135i is a 2010 MT. I absolutely love the sound quality and can't wait till the weather gets mild enough to have the windows down. Alas I've been remiss about doing a video, I always have it in my mind, but it never seems to get done.

I guess the point of my somewhat off-topic response is the sound quality is great even with the stock midpipes, with a Meisterschaft midpipe section, I assume the sound quality would be the same but volume would increase.

Correct. Midpipe is supposed to double the sound when added to the axle-back. Not sure if this applies to the resonated or non-resonated midpipe though?

I have the GT axle-back and I love it. I have nothing bad to say about it at all.

I'd love to see a video of a Meisterschaft GT axle-back on a stock system, did you ever do one?

I debated about which one to get and went with the Touring HP. I wanted an exhaust that had a great tone and was noticeable but not window-rattling loud. At first I thought the sound of the HP was too subdued, but it has opened up considerably with mileage. Really lovely sound quality!

No, never made a video. I don't currently have a video camera. It's on my to-do list.

Im thinking of going with the quad GT system but am stuck between that and the Arqray. Both sound pretty similar and are around the same price. If anyone could share their opinion on which is better, thanks.

Did you ever get your quads from GT? Just curious because I had pre-ordered a quad and after waiting 6 months and nothing but empty promises I gave up.
