It doesn't matter if Cobb or another tuner makes the tunes...the interface is what matters here...

Although the ECUs may be similar, there is a significant amount of effort and support required for each global region. There are an equal or greater number of the ROMs for each make/model/year in each region as well as different fuel grades to account for. Then calibrations must be developed for each of these vehicles with the appropriate fuel grade, and further testing must be accomplished before the release of the product. Then support must be provided to improve calibrations based on new developments, customer feedback, etc. This is on a region by region bases. At this time, we are focusing on developing our full-tuning-solution for the breadth of N54 based twin-turbo based vehicles in the USDM region before moving on to other world regions. We do not have an ETA for support outside of the USDM at this time.

My appreciation to perrin for the dyno.
We are really excited about teaming up with COBB as well.
We have been a strong advocate for Flash tuning and the AccessPort is such a great package.

I am quite confident that more stages and maps will roll out soon and with more coverage for all DME's out there, this is a going to be a great product for all of us to enjoy!

I'd like to see the respected piggyback tuners chime in on the ECU re-flash VS piggy back claims

BMS says its a little high for a complete stock car and might touch safetly limits (i think thats what i remember reading), shiv is beta testing new maps right now that take better control of the afr (like cobb) and is pushing very similar gains as cobb on a stock car.

But when you put the dyno's for the jb4, v5 and cobb on each other, they are very similar.

It's on par with the piggybacks. People should inform them selfs before making any modification to thier cars. But it does seem that our half shafts are the weak link in the drivetrain followed by the clutch, and the people that are having those problems are usually in the 450whp/wtq with meth and pushing 19-20psi.

exactly, its nearing the limit but still fairly safe. On MTs a clutch upgrade will be necessary at some point. The ATs should be fine

Would you please buy a N55 car and use your conections to get the N55 tune out.

Thanks in advance.
