NEWB BMW 128i 2009

Hello guys! this is my first post on these forums as before picking up my most recent E82 I had an E85 Z4. I am looking to pick up some new rims and have just been trying to find what the perfect size would be for a daily/spirited driven car. I am currently on Ksport coilovers and have a decent drop on the stock 17' wheels but I would like to get VMR 710's and was wondering what the best wheel and tire size would be. My fenders are already rolled but I just want to have a setup with no rub even with passengers but tucked at the same time. Currently I am looking at

18x8.5 35 offset front
18x9 45 offset rear

tire size front would be 215x18 front and 225x18 rear

Thanks in advance guys!

i don't want to revive an old thread, but anything to help a newcomer,i guess.

from what i've been told,ET 35 is really aggressive, but if your fenders are rolled,it shouldn't be a problem on 215s.

linked below for reference is simon930's bimmer. he runs 19x8.5 ET35 in the fronts and 19x9.5 ET35 in the back w/ near zero rubbing (apparently).

18x9 ET 45 in the back shouldn't be a problem. you might be close to the strut, though.
