There was another black one at the start which didn't go the rest of the cruise?, and BMWDave/amk2912 didn't make it.

I am,i will work in with whatever you come up with,but when you come up with a time and date,it might be a good idea not to change your mind on the day and meet somewhere else and not tell anyone

OT-the mrs and i had the day off today and went to auto classic,our old sales guy had left so we were talking to a nice new guy and he let us go for some test drives on our own.

We wanted to try the x6 and took out the diesel model,nice car,not alot of power in this form,he let us take out the x6 5.0l twin turbo model,alot of reviews have said the motor sounds dull and muted,geez i loved it,sounds great and so much power on tap,this type of engine will be spot on in the new m5

They had a space grey 4 door m3 on the floor,a red x5m and a space grey x6m which looked nice,then the last car we took out was a white m3 coupe,this was the first time i have driven a v8 m3,we both loved this car,great free reving engine and superb handling,but what got me the most about this car was the steering feel,it was perfect,like no other car i have driven,loved it.

We still like our mini m3 though

The missus and I took the vermillion red X6 xDrive5.0 TT for a drive last week purely to feel the power of the 4.4L V8. Have to admit I loved it as we are looking at the X5 version when it comes out later in the year. Coming from a 3.0L E53 the difference is rather noticable!

Didn't see a space grey E90 M3 but I'm curious to see whether it has M-drive and EDC. AC have a tendency to order the E90 M3s without these options, which are mandatory IMHO. I nearly bought a black E90 M3 from them last year but ended up getting mine from QLD as it had M-drive and EDC.

Sorry to go a bit OT but the BMW Club of WA have a track day on 21 May at Barbagallo. I don't know how many places they have left but I've secured my place. Join the club, strap yourself in and feel the G's!

Be warned though...after last years track day my 135i needed new rear rubber, new front pads and an oil change!
