18x8.5 ET35 wheels?

I am looking into a set of 18x8.5 ET35 wheels for my 135i. Will these off sets work for the front and rear? If so, what would be the recommended tire size?

The 8.5 ET35 is going to be a bit aggressive for the 1 Series. We typically recommend 8.5 ET45 in the front with a 225 tire. An ET35 may require a roll of the fenders and maybe a bit of camber.

The back, running a 255 tire, with would be the ideal width and ET?

I'd say something like an ET40-45

You will need a fender roll to run 225+245.

i had 18x8 et34 225/40 and 18x8.5 et37 255/35 on my car, style 197 wheels.

Only rubbed in the back on big dips, and if i had passengers in the back. This is with -2 degrees camber in the back.
