I'd never leave home because I wouldn't be able to decide which car to take.

Thanks amk2912, Its AW with the black Novillo leather and the 220M 19inch alloys. It also has a Climate Comfort Windscreen - whatever that is! The other colour I liked was space grey but that wasn't available in time.

Good question. Given my car is a track car, upgrade would have to mean something like a GT3. But then again the reason I didn't go all the way for a GT3 in the first place is because I was worried about the cost of wrecking such a car on a track where I am not insured.

Btw, those of you who have expressed interest in a E90 4 door M3, I happened to know one that is potentially for sale as the owner is yearning a 911. Anyone interested please PM me!

One of the E92 M3's in Tassie came off our local track and hit a barrier. No Insurance and a $60K plus bill. The car was new. That was a very very bad day.

$60k bill is not what scares me. $300k bill is though if I write off a GT3!

60k bill!!??

That's insane! I would probably have to consider hanging myself. I would never be able to get something that big - financially, emotionally and psychologically. It would kill me inside.

$300K would really ruin my day. It makes a purpose built track car seem like great value for money!

Hah! You don't tell them. That is the only way. Mine doesn't have a clue how much I have spent on making my 135i a track car.

I used to have a Z4 2.5 and my dealer found a Z4M in the same colour. He tried to convince me to swap. He said... she won't notice, what can go wrong!

I would still keep m 135i - I am dreaming to have it lightened . My wife always want a 911 - she thinks it is cute......

I don't know... I have been looking at the really really expensive cars lately... you know how you used to read about M3 as your dream car? Now I am looking at the Lamborghinis and Ferraris. May be I am dreaming, just like BBK, or may be I am setting myself a goal

Absolutely agree, if you don't have a goal there is nothing to work for!

And agree also about the 'dream' cars. After going to Dubai and seeing the following just on one night at a shopping mall...

I will send you my wife's new mineral makeup range, in case they need more colours.
