AutoBild’s “Faszination //M” dvd at German news stands now(!)…
Just a heads up guys to ay located in Germany… today I was at my German supermarket Real SB, checking out the car mags like I always do. I saw this cool dvd from AutoBild. Its actually their tv program AutoBild’s tests from this year’s shows from Germany tv. I bought it and watched it tonight – 60 minutes long. It’s pretty decent video. Especially when you consider it was only six euros! It is only in German but if you know a little bit it is watchable. I really enjoyed seeing some of the obscure //M cars. Like the e93M “pic car” aka pickup, M8, and the X5LeMans. IF any of you are in Germany… I suggest you buy this ASAP.. bc it won’t be at the magazine stands for long. |

Nice DVD & Magazine!
But its a shame that the M8 is just a few secs in the DVD  And the Video Quality is sometimes just SD...

(I think the camera was pan'd to give you the illusion) I seem to recall someone saying (or did I read it somewhere?)that the M8's engine ECU was bad and that even M could not find a good DME/ECU since that was just a one off car to show the BMW board - who later killed the project. |
