Anyone used 26.5mm and 23mm M3 sways on their 135?

I am doing either the M3 26.5mm front with the 20mm or the 23mm rear. I was wondering the outcome of using the larger 23mm rear?

getting a 23mm over the 20mm will probably give the car a more neutral feel thru the corners. If your gonna go with both front and rear u might as well go with the 23 mm.

I'm using the M3 swaybars, f 26.5 r 20. I'm not aware there is a new 23mm rear bar.

There is indeed. HP Autowerks sells it. I'm not too sure it's new. If I recall correctly they used to sell the 20mm.

The 20mm rear bar is from the M3 coupe/sedan. The M3 convertible has the 23mm rear bar. I know the larger bar should dial out more understeer. I was hoping someone could comment on how the 23mm front with the 20mm rear bar drives. How neutral does it get? Thanks

I've plug the 23mm rear bar into a suspension spreadsheet (assuming wall thickness similar to other M3 bars at 3.5mm). With stock 135i springs, the 23mm rear bar may be too stiff. I've got a front weight bias of about 52%. As a reference, the 20mm rear bar gives a front weight bias of 58%. In other words, the 23mm may give too much oversteer. Check with Harold at HP for his opinion.

When I had the M3 bars installed with the stock 135i springs, the understeer and roll of the car was much reduced.

Thanks....I have been off the site as I was busy...but I have ordered the 26.5 front and 20 for the rear.
