over boosting with procede n55 brainstorming session

Ive had a half engine check light consistently rearing its ugly head when the procede was installed with multiple codes all referring to wastegate and overboosting. I now have taken the procede out and have had no CELs at all.
Im still under warranty so want bmw to replace my solenoid (as i believe thats the issue), however can no longer throw a CEL to prove that the issue actually exists.
Any advice on next steps?

Not to state the obvious, BUT if you truly believe the solenoid to be at fault at overboost, and this can't be replicated without the proceed installed, just have it replaced at your own expense.

If your car is 2010/2011 production date, have you updated the dme software on the N55? I can't remember which version sw you need, but I asked Adrian and he told me you needed to update it past a certain version for procede to run smoothly.

I would just buy a solenoid and replace yourself, or get Advan to do it. They are known to fail, and Advan have replaced them before. Did you ever confirm that the engine was overboosting? I mean do you watch the boost and see it go too high? It is possible the DME thinks it is overboosting when it is not.

I know im bumping an old thread here but i hate it when you start reading a thread that may interest you, get to the end and it fails to deliver any real answers.

Needed a DME upgrade and have been CEL free until now,

My new issue is that im overboosting after a recent downpipe install.
I have the emissions light flashing twice at me.....re installed the latest maps sent from Vishnu.....and still jerky above 40000rpm. Runs fine on map 0.....stock.

Will let y'all know how I go......if anyone (Adrian) can chime in i would be grateful.
