NIce post, thanks. I especially like the second pic - really makes the 135i look small.
Sorry to be such an idiot, but I never paid much attention to BMWs before the 135i. What is a "tii"? From some tuner house? From BMW? Nice to see an interior without iDrive. The white looks nice! |

I spy Chris Bangle and Adrian van Hooydonk! =P
I like the clean layout of the interior. The white gauges are a bit polarizing but make thematic sense. Interesting texture on the "newly developed structure tissue" aka flooring material -reads like a refined version of the material that padded the seats of the E46 M3 CSL Concept. Edit: A nice article about BMW Carbon-Fiber-Reinforced Plastic (CFP) parts on production cars: http://www.worldcarfans.com/2030725.001 |

They got to build this babe - oh fuck, this awesome car is the holy reason why I am BMW addicted!!!
From my point of view the TII is even hotter than the new M3 (which isn't certainly a bad car) Wow, I wasn't that impressed by a car for ages!!! |

Tii stands for touring international injection ...
(touring international injection)
" ... There's quite a few different models of 2002. First, there is also the 1600, which is a 2002 with a smaller displacement engine and usually weaker brakes and suspension. Then it gets interesting. There were Baur cabrios (convertibles) and the dual carbureted ti (touring international) model for both, with a targa-top (open roof) car also being built by Baur, although nowdays it is very rare. Then there was the hatchback touring. The tii (touring international injection) in 1972 was the successor to the ti, with an updated body and trim and the all-important Kugelfischer mechanical fuel injection system instead of the dual sidedraft carburetors. Then along came the turbo in 1974/1975. ... " http://www.bayarea02.com/features/bu...nd_square.html |

The 135Tii is a very, very sick race-car...!
I just re-read the press release and realized that after reading all the impressive engineering and design, they are chasing after a true bred racer car. The released this car to the world next to an new e90 M3 and it looks twice as fierce. Nil luxury, pure performance.... The Tii is a direct attack on the Porsche 911 crowd, assuming BMW has engineered the chasis for track. -Garrett |

Guys, can some of you stop reposting HUGE pictures that have already been posted a bagillion times in other threads? I think I have seen the same batch of the original "official" pictures a thousand times by now... It's make the threads extremely difficult to read.
Otherwise, it looks brilliant in the 'live' shots. I love everything about it except the exposed CF hood. I pray that they build it.

driver's seat has a blue seatbelt and passenger's is white. i love the blue and white accents on the seats, belts, and brakes, and shifter. there is also some blue stitching that says something on the bottom edge of the steering wheel.

Two things I noticed:
1. The corona rings "seem" a lot brighter on the Tii? Maybe my imagination. 2. Are the trim rings around the headlights a different color then normal? Like a shawdow chrome compared to the regular bright silver. Seems more muted and I like it. Two things I would order from this pkg for my regualr 135i. 1. The rear lower diffuser. More aggressive and I like it. 2. The CF rear gurny flap. Small enough to look good on Monaco. |
