Finally after ordering almost 6 months ago and waiting a month here for paperwork to process I finally took delivery of my car today. First impressions are Love it so far. Its easily the most favorite bmw ive had and really reminds me of driving my old e30 in so many ways. and have a few small moding plans. Was deff worth the wait. Now I can stop stalking other people's delivery threads out of envy lol. Here a few pics. Ill just say now before i get flamed that when I ordered I wanted silver trim inside but for 2013 it was only an option with msport which I didn't want becuz I don't like those wheels so put that money towards a set I want. (Did order sports seats as stand alone tho) so I chose white trim. Ill admit I think it photographs terribly and appears very cheap. But it looks great in person. Just something you'd have to see with your eyes kinda like trying to photograph angel eyes. Tonight I swapped out my steering wheel with the m3 tri Color one I ordered, my shift knob and boot to the BMW performance ones. Blk chrome badging and alpine white matched grills. Tomorrow doing angel eyes.

Thanks everyone. Was a bit bummed when I got home last night because on the way a stupid truck kicked a rock up and nicked the windshield just the slightest bit in the lower left corner. I thought jeez can't I even have it 24h first. But rather it that than the bumper or hood and chip paint or something. I think with usaa ur allowed 1 new windshield per yr.

Look at having repaired if it is out of the line of sight.

Be thankful that is all that happened. I picked mine up on a Wednesday night and a dump truck backed into it on Monday. In my driveway. That was thanksgiving and I am still waiting on repairs to be completed. Waiting on the light that goes in door handle. It is on a boat on its way from Germany. The parts for a 2013 are scarce.

Really. That's crazy bro and in your driveway too. Wow. Well that does make me feel a bit better. Hope you get her back soon.

If the windshield needs replaced, do insist on OEM. I was promised that, but ended up with some off-brand, which certainly does have an issue or two.

Otherwise, enjoy!

It prolly took me about an hr and 20 min for both I'd say. But that's because this was my first time swapping a steering wheel so I went slow to make sure I didn't screw up anything and kept running back inside to look at the DIY thread on the computer to make sure I was doing it right. But really it's prolly like a 30 min job. The shift knob and boot all of 5 min. The boot just pops out and pop the other one on and the knob just clicks Down over top of it.

Enora buena!! I'm jealous you get to break her in on those famous spanish back roads. Miss Rota like no other. Such a great beach town.

I've got to learn where the good back roads r man. Any good suggestions? Or what about some roads that travel the coast. That's what I really wanna drive on an stop along an take pics of the scenery. I would love to take a trip to Germany to break it n too back to where I grew up in Heidelberg but got too much going on for that.

Btw if anyone wants or needs a good steering wheel I'm selling the stock one shown in the pics up above with the white trim piece or if you prefer I have the M trim that came with the m3 wheel I swapped but I used the alcantera trim piece of course. Literally only used 12 miles.
