1M, second set of brake discs died

Hello,
the first set died on the 15k run started beating like hell, then i installed the new one OEM brake discs with new pads Endless MA45B Endurance and brake fluid motul, i did 10 laps on nurburgring and again started beating
Please advised not very expensive and good brakes discs, which do not overheat so much, saw 1M and M3 on the Nurburgring with installed performance friction brakes, what can you say about them?

IMO, the OE pads are the issue
yes, I did the same with a new pair of brake discs put new Endless pads, but this did't help and i always cooling down brakes before the parking
which discs can you advised?

My first disc with the OEM pads died about 10k, then I installed the new endless pads, and brake discs, after 1000 km new discs kaput! I think it's because of the new endless pad too hot for these disks, that's why new discs died so quickly, now I do not know what disks install next

Is it possible to fit the wear sensor with the Ferodo DS2500 ?

Does the brake pad rattle (moving in the caliper) ?

Do you have problems that the ABS-system comes in to early with the DS2500 ?

Best to change front and rears ? or front only ?

Is there a (big) improvement changing the brake fluid to ... ATE type 200 ? Castrol SRF ?

Have you looked into PFC DD 2-piece rotors? They are very robust, lighter weight and stay cooler on the track than OE discs.

http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...mance+friction

if yes then on the next week I will be installing them, the guys from Nurburgring advised them to me, they use PFC disks with endless pads in their BMW RS-M3, and said that there no problems with this disks.

depends on how much you need to stop.....

Absolutely, unquestionably, Castrol SRF is a superior fluid. See the label on the side of each and look up the terms wet and dry boiling point.

note that the WET Boiling point of SRF nearly exceeds the DRY boiling point of ATE Typ200. that means that even thoroughly thrashed SRF exceeds fresh ATE.

PFC DD with PFC 08 pads have been tested/abused with good results here in the US.

Just make sure the pad is free of any grooves and perhaps use some sand paper to remove some material so you have a fresh surface to perform your bed-in.

The OE pads get too hot and break down, leaving deposits on the discs IMO
DS2500 is not the way to go on track day. I did 2 track days on stock rotors and DS2500. On the 2nd track day I burned my DS2500, because it is not the track pad. It is steet compound and it is possible to use it only 1 fast lap.
I'm planning to get the Endless CCRg to front and I'm not sure with the rear ones. Will use the stock rotors and will see how it works.

PS AD08 and RS-3 tires. PTF st.2+

do not make my mistakes, even at the Nurburgring where only few hard braking, stock rotors overheating with Endless pads, Endless pads very strong and hot for stock rotors, this car very heavy for these brakes.
And one important thing don't install Endless pads only on front, because a lot of work on the front, I made this mistake, you need to put on the back too some ME20.

looks like a whole lotta people that need to step up to some real brake pads in this thread.

instead of this " endless" company.. or Ferodo 2500s which are a pad for street and novice drivers... go with ..

- Performance Friction 01 or 08
- Hawk HT10, HT,14, or any of their DTC pads
- Ferodo DS3000

+1.

Also make sure you're running proper brake fluid (ATE 200, Motul RBF600, etc.).

PS19 will scare off truck drivers, but PS29 is more acceptable for street use.
