you might want to add xenon lights to your package too.
it takes 8weeks if you order your car, but if they already have 1 in line that suits your needs, then it will be faster.

I just turned 19 this october 15th, and for my bday my rents got me a 325i monaco/beige automatic base model. I could not be more happy with this car.

At first i tried to convince my dad to get me a 330i, but after a few days i just decided that it was good enough to be getting a bmw, no matter what kind it was. A few weeks into owning the car, i can say without a doubt i made the right choice. The 325 cost over 120 dollars less per month, costs less on the insurance, and also not to mention the dealer gave my rents a very very good deal since they had leased an x5 from the same dealership a few years ago. This car turned out to be a bargain...399/mo 0 down...turning into 430 a month with taxes and a few other minor payments included in the monthly payments.

I think you should just be happy with the 325. Its a hell of a lot of car at such a young age i think.

My first car was a 2003 infiniti m45...a 340 hp v8 monster. I originally thought going from 340 horses to 215 was an atrocity...but after actually driving my 325 around for a few weeks, i can say without a doubt that i love this car far more than i ever liked my infiniti.

OH BTW: just so you know...i ended up totalling my M45 last month after a night of heavy drinking. So extra power on your car isnt always the best thing.

And your parents bought you a BMW to replace it?? You have to be kidding me.

And you're admitting to totalling your M45 after driving drunk like you're proud of it? You have to be kidding me.

heh i guess thats what i get for being honest around here. I was just saying that to show him that more power will really bring him no added satisfaction since he will get used to the power regardless. And whoever said i was proud of it?

Whats up with the negativity of some of the board members around here anyway?

Sorry just kind of shocking. To each their own, I guess. Personally, if that happened to me my parents would probably never speak to me for the rest of my life, let alone get me any new car.

I'm 22, btw, and just graduated University so my parents were nice enough to get me an amazing car to start life in the workforce with. I wouldn't say I deserve this car, because while I worked hard for what I got, there are plenty of other less fortunate people working their way through school the same way as myself who didn't have either generous parents or parents with means to afford such a gift.

One of the things my parents told me when I got the car was to be careful with it, because if something happens to it then I'll be driving an Echo, which is probably all my budget for the next 3-5 years will allow me to afford.

But hey, once again, to each his own. Awesome for you, the 3 is an amazing car. I'm glad you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine, but I hope in the first place that you learned your lesson.

i understand...well maybe if it will bring things more into perspective...its important to note that the m45 was under a lease. So after i totaled it, my parents only ended up paying 1000 dollars deductable and then whiping their hands of the matter.

They were actually kind of relieved since the lease on the m45 was higher than the 325i, and they were glad that the lease was terminated. Now, they pay less expensive monthly payments and a less expensive insurance bill than with the infiniti.

If they are offering a 325 I would take it, better than no new E90 at all.
