When I see her at Indy I'll ask.
I have taught my 5 year-old her name and face...when we're watching SpeedTV she says..."There's Danica Patrick!". I'm okay with DP as a role model!

You listed some intestering spots... I think on my ride to the office the absolute worse pass is entering the 40 towards the west, coming north from the 13. Talk about a mine field!!!

I m not a racer but I have been "burned" by a G35 today....obviously the guy wanted to race me on the 20 west.....
I tried to keep up with him but he was much faster I finally got him on the highway exit as he was afraid to take it at high speed... anyway better straight acceleration for the G35 (vs 325i.......i think 330i would have been another story) I m in for the kart ....should be very funny |

The karting is the only place one can really let it all hang out and not get in big trouble!!
It looks like the outdoor karting begins May 11th, but the indoor one is ongoing. Which do you chaps prefer? Sam, are your winter tires off now?

I agree that the G35 hp is closer to the 330 (Infinity claims 280hp, but I would be surprised if the new SAE tests would show anything over 260). However, I doubt you would have been burned if you were in the right gear.... I am all for the go carting experience. It would have to be after the June 24 week-end/GP thingies. |

The body is there, in a plasticky, LA plastic surgeon mold sort of way, but I am really not into blondes....Not that there is anything wrong with that.

I'd be a maybe for go karting depending on when it is. I feel like a douchebag driving those things. Like a bear on a tricycle at the circus.

Tom wants to go big, at Tremblant, yes, I remember that part of the thread! Except now I'm scared to wear out my brakes and tires too much.

Hmmmm.... I'd have to feel them to be sure.
BTW I would love to do the track thing, but for the same reasons as you I wouldn't want to do it in my car. Maybe when I'm about to change the tires or something, but I burn enough rubber on the roads without taking it to the track. |

June 4 !!!! Let's do it in some else's BMWs, at the Hyppo, at the BMW driving course. Then, once we're all cocky after our course, we can go carting. Sounds like a plan ? |

The runflats are back on!
I already used ~40% of the tread on my winters. The guy said if I had bought Blizzaks they would be done. |

Wholly smoking burnouts - how many kms do you drive.
PS - so far I really like my RFT summers, but it takes a while to get used to razor-sharp handling response. The car is like a foxhound from one side to the other if not carefull. If didn't spend all winter without this sensation I would have thought there was a problem with the car, but on speaking with a collegue with a 2006 TL dynamic package he told me its the tires. |

One thing I'm noticing with the RFTs is that after getting used to the car much more over the winter, I can really feel the softness of the non-sport suspension. I couldn't before... going from my Volvo S70 which made the E90 feel like a Ferrari. Assuming I'm not living in a van by the river in a couple of years when the lease is up on this car I'll probably go for an E92 with the sport package. |
