Parking ticket on car with temp plates?
So i havent recieved my plates yet. What would happen , hypothetically speaking if I didnt pay the parking ticket I just recieved? it would go back to the dealer and they would contact me to pay it?
Not looking for a lecture on paying parking tickets, im looking for the answer to the question. |

No reciprocal agreement with NYC for parking tickets.

Call and find out... the worse thing they can do is say no. Oh, and the plates are traceable to you. If your name is on the temp registration (which it has to be), then the plates are too.

not quite. the proper procedure is to buy temporary permits that are available for purchase every night of the week. I really have no defense against the tickets. |

Think about it. If the temporary tag is not traceable to the owner of the vehicle, then what exactly is the point? Do you think they just give you those T-tags so everyone will know you have a new car?
I suggest you try it and find out. You should also run several red lights at intersections that have cameras too - might as well really enjoy your immunity from the law. Maybe you could rob a bank too and have your car parked in plain view of the ATM camera...

Obviously its traceable to the owner slick. But that doesnt mean the court is going to trace a parking ticket to the owner. Thanks for your informative post . |
