Can you order and lease-to-buy a manual 135i?

Hey guys, I was wondering is it possible to build a manual tranny 135i in any config u want and lease it for 36 months?

then if you like the car, buy it after the lease? it seems bmwusa shows know leases for manual cars.

i was thinking about leasing because i'm afraid of problems. and if it does have problems, i can return to the dealer after the lease ends. If not, then i can buy it after the lease.

also, does anyone know if i can lease for 20k miles per year?

Im pretty sure you can lease-to-buy a manual 135i but 20k miles per year seems like A LOT... I think AVG is like 12-15k but thats just going by what insurance says, when your on any kind of lease its usually real low and being its a BMW I doubt theyll give 20k miles per year on any lease.. On my TDI I had it was leased-to-buy but i know the miles were way less then 20k per year and that was VW..

Yes you can order and lease a MT, I did.
You can write a lease for 20k annual miles, but I suggest making a spreadsheet with the different residuals and mileage and factor in the additional mileage to see which scenario works out best.
If you lease through BMWFS, you have 3 options for excess miles: $0.15/mi when you sign the lease, $0.16/mi up to 4 months before lease ends, and $0.20/mi at lease end.
I think most people end up buying miles before lease end because they'll have a better idea of how many they need, and they don't pay interest built into the payment when you buy up front.

Good luck.

I did this on my 330. If you plan to keep, you can drive as many miles as you want as they dont factor that in for purchase, only turn in at the end of the lease. If you absolutely know you will be keeping the car from day 1, you can go with the 10K mles rate and save a couple of bucks.
