I'm thinking jet too. What's the difference between sapphire and jet? Is it really worth nearly $500?? If you were going to keep this car for a while, what would be your standard color choice?

I actually prefer the JB--I have it on my E92. The Sapphire isn't quite "dark" enough for me if that makes sense. I like metallic versions of black--but only if they are pretty dark.

If youre worried about that just get white then...my options are crimson red, jet black, and alpine white:thumbup:

The "free" ones then, huh?

I think its stupid that metallic paint costs more....just for the record.

I agree that metallic paint shouldn't cost extra. look at acura's colors! those don't cost extra. The German car's paint always costs extra

I'll never buy another black car ever again. Yeah, its beautiful.. yeah it looks nice. As a daily driver, though, it is absolute hell to keep clean. Black shows all dust, water spots after it rains, scratches, nicks, swirl marks. Not to mention its hot as hell after sitting in the sun. Never again for me.

to be honest i love black and was set on the 135 in either jet or metallic but it kinda looks fat in black there.. i dunno. those pictures are somewhat skewed just because they are so close up too (and the "efficient dynamics" crap messes with the overall appearance to tell from those other pics), the spy ones from way back had better angles. have to see it in the flesh/metal.

It does seem a bit cheesy for a premium car, but all the German companies seem to do it.

Haha it's exactly that type of attitude that's going to make this car very expensive for me.

I like black and all, but I don't think I'm going to get it for most of the reasons mentioned above. Also, I think it hides the lines of the car.

I'll probably go with montego blue: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=836

or maybe platinum broze or actic if they offer them.
