I ordered a staggered set of Vreds for mine and shipped it is costing me 1060 to my door, I should have them Tuesday!

Thanks for the offer bro, i found tires just before I saw your posting. I have never used vreds, so I am more comfortable going with a brand I have used before .

I got the new toy. so I plan to take it out with you guys. (still need to register it as Canadian still has mississippi plates). Plan to come with a buddy in a cobra. he is going for low 11s. Whats the deal with the cruise down? I live in oakville anyone leaving from the 403 and dundas tims?

dont think ill make it!!! damn volcano is postponing some of my parts from getting here in time! and plus i think my new wheel/tire set up is not track friendly at all!

Ok lets thnk about a meeting place. We are rapidly approaching the day. I have to head to work now but if anyone has any suggestions on the pre-meet details that would be great. I will be calling the track to double confirm May 7th is open to the public.

no needto call it is a go. Just waiting on the weather.
Come on mo get to the track. You can have all the mods in the world if you can drive it you can pull 16s haha. Practice practice practice.

I really want to go to the track stock but I think I maybe ordering a jb3 and the CDV. I'm in a delimna where I want to track it stock and see what I can do then see the result of each individualy mod. Only thing I have the car for a month before I head out west for a year and half and the car will sit in Ontario driven from the the go train and back by the rents. Decisions decisions.

I am likely going to be at the track for 11:00 on May 7th. I would like to spend a solid day there. If anyone from Toronto wants to meet up with me before I head over let me know. I am taking a vacation day from work.

I won't have any tires loll. Unless you guys want to see what a 135i with winter tires can do

Irish i don't think the tack is open that early. also its calling for rain. I'll watch the doopler day before but right now not looking to good. I have been to the track when it was calling for thunderstorms it never rained until an hour after I left you just need to watch the clouds flight paths.

UPDATE: Please Read Below

1. I have confirmed with the track that test and tune fridays is open to the public during the evening only, 7pm - 11pm. My apologies for communicating otherwise.

2. the long term weather forecast is calling for rain on Friday, which will mean the drag strip will likely be closed for safety reasons as it was last Saturday

Considering the above, I recommend we change the date to a weekend day or the following Friday May 14th so that we can plan to attend during the evening. Thoughts?

wait untill the morning of. yesterday and today was suppose to be pissing cats and dogs. The good thing is if it doesn't rain and your watching the dopler radar everyone gets scared and you have an awesome night cause no one is there. I did that all last year

I've installed yesterday ER Charge Pipe + N54 Forge DVs. Now I'm running into limp mode under WOT.. somewhere I've got a major boost leak . Not sure if I'll have enough time to resolve it by Friday.....

ya you do 2 full days. i'm going to say your charge pipe check sealing. Then make sure proper tension on the dv valves. you prob already knew this tho

LOL... Yeah, pretty much have to dissemble everything and start over... 4 hours of work... and hopefully it'll fix it. PITA is not knowing where the boost leak is coming... Might have time on Thursday to work on it, hopefully it doesn't rain...
